Bangladesh

Bangladesh is a country located in South Asia, bordered by India to the west, north, and east, Myanmar (Burma) to the southeast, and the Bay of Bengal to the south. It is known for its rich cultural heritage, diverse ethnic groups, and significant history. The capital and largest city is Dhaka. Bangladesh gained independence from Pakistan in 1971 after a lengthy liberation war. It has a predominantly Bengali population and the official language is Bengali (Bangla). The country is characterized by its lush landscapes, including the world’s largest river delta, the Sundarbans, which is home to the Bengal tiger. Economically, Bangladesh has made significant progress in recent years, particularly in the textile and garment industry, which is a major contributor to its economy. The country faces challenges such as poverty, political instability, and vulnerability to natural disasters, particularly flooding. Despite these challenges, it has shown resilience and growth potential.
