Somalia

Somalia is a country located in the Horn of Africa, bordered by the Indian Ocean to the east, the Gulf of Aden to the north, and neighboring countries such as Djibouti to the northwest, Ethiopia to the west, and Kenya to the southwest. The capital and largest city is Mogadishu. Somalia has a population consisting predominantly of ethnic Somalis and has a rich cultural heritage influenced by its historical interactions with various civilizations.

The country has experienced significant political instability, civil conflict, and humanitarian challenges since the early 1990s, leading to interruptions in governance and law enforcement. Somalia is known for its diverse geography, with coastal areas, savannas, and mountainous regions, and it has a predominantly arid to semi-arid climate.
